2024 Spinone Only with the Northeast Spinone Club

The Northeast Spinone Club, Inc. hosted Spinone Only weekend at Green Point Wildlife Management Area in Maine on June 29 and 30 this year. More than 45 Spinone and over 80 handlers, trainers and volunteers attended the two day event, with sessions ranging from obedience and hunt training, to grooming, water work and health information.  

Spinone Only weekend was originally started by Lena Amirian and revived by the Northeast Spinone Club Inc in 2018, held annually in Maine. Since its revival, more than half of the Spinone who have tested in NAVHDA tests have attended at least one Spinone Only weekend, as well as earned numerous AKC hunt titles, AKC Champion and Grand Champion show honors, and been active in their communities as therapy dogs and wonderful family pets.
